Credits.
The footage you see inside the editor, in the launch film and in every clip on this site, is public-domain and CC0 video. The film's music and voice were made in OpenFrame. And OpenFrame stands on other people's open-source work.
Footage
Each clip was trimmed and re-encoded without sound for the demo project. Titles and authors are as their sources list them.

Music and voice
The launch film's 120 BPM score was generated inside OpenFrame by its music generator, which synthesizes every instrument in code on your computer, with no samples, loops or outside audio. The 128 BPM track inside the demo project was synthesized in code for this project too, from oscillators, noise and filters.
The film's narration is OpenFrame's own text to speech: the Kokoro-82M model (Apache-2.0) and its af_heart voice, run on the computer through kokoro-js.
Open source
OpenFrame and this site are built on these projects, among many others:
- Tauri: the desktop shell.
- React: the interface (and this site's interactive parts).
- Mediabunny: reading and writing media with WebCodecs.
- Transformers.js: running Whisper and the background-removal models on your device.
- kokoro-js: text to speech with Kokoro-82M.
- Lucide: the icons, in the app and on this site (ISC license).
- Inter: this site's typeface, served from this site (SIL Open Font License).
- Astro: this site.
The full inventory of dependencies, models and their licenses is in docs/Third-party licenses.md. Models and libraries keep their own licenses; OpenFrame's own code is GPL-3.0-only.
